Slow is the point: gradual tapers are why ~70% succeed where cold turkey fails. Your full plan adds safety screening, exact dose recipes, and adapts to your check-ins.

Educational preview, not medical advice. Taper with a prescriber, never stop abruptly.

Why the curve bends instead of dropping in a straight line

Psychiatric medications don’t affect your brain in a straight line. At higher doses, most of your receptors are already occupied, so a cut barely registers. Near zero, the same size cut hits much harder. A hyperbolic taper makes each step a similar-sized change to your brain by shrinking the milligram cuts as you go, which is why the last milligram takes as much care as the first ten.

This preview shows the shape, the first step, and the likely duration. Your full plan adds safety screening, exact dose recipes for each step (tablet splits, liquid measurements), automatic holds when a stretch gets rough, and a pace that adapts to your daily check-ins.

Educational preview, not medical advice or a prescription. Taper with a prescriber, and never stop abruptly, especially benzodiazepines and alcohol.
