Subside

Terms of use

Plain-language summary · last updated June 2026.

Not medical advice

Subside is an educational companion, not a doctor, pharmacy, or emergency service. Everything it produces, including your taper plan, is a draft to review and adjust with a qualified prescriber. It is not a prescription, and it does not replace medical care.

Your responsibility

You agree to taper only under the guidance of a prescriber, never to stop a medication abruptly, and to seek urgent care for any red-flag symptom. You’re responsible for the decisions you make about your own medication.

No warranty / limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties. The clinical references are approximate and vary between individuals. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Subside is not liable for outcomes arising from use of the service.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew on the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals. Billing is handled by Stripe.

Emergencies

If you are in crisis or danger, call your local emergency number, or in the US call or text 988. See our safety & crisis page.
